Ask for special rates when you call for a hotel room. There are great restaurants and buffets in the Casinos. Blackhawk and Central City are both old mining towns. Central City has done the best job of preserving the old buildings and facades.     

Colorado is a limited stakes gambling State. The largest bet you can make is $5. the machines go from the new penny machines on up to $5 machines. Blackjack and poker. The larger Casinos all have large indoor parking garages. Now it's your call.

The best route to the Casinos - From Denver, go west on I-70 to exit 243. You get off on Central City Parkway which is a new 4 lane highway into Central City. Central City and Blackhawk border each other and share a free bus system. Blackhawk has the most hotel rooms and the largest Casinos.
