This photo of a Union Pacific coal train was taken between 2 tunnels above Eldorado Springs, Colorado. After a one and a half hour climb up Rattlesnake Gulch Trail in Eldorado Canyon State Park to get to the tracks, it was another half hour wait for the train to appear. As I snapped the photo, the engineer gave me a blast on his air horn. A train buff knows what a thrill that was.
